Ohio University Libraries is once again holding its bi-annual Finals by Alden event to help students alleviate stress before their spring semester finals. As the end of the year approaches and the OHIO community begins finals week, the Libraries will be holding some fun activities to take a bit of the pressure off.
Beginning on Tuesday, April 22, a new event added to the Finals by Alden calendar will occur, puzzle day. In room 251 of Alden Library, an assortment of puzzles for people to stop in and work on will be available from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Treats and prizes will occur throughout the day too. Button making will take place on Wednesday, April 23 at 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on the fourth floor in the lobby as well as the cute 4-H Pet Pals will return from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the second floor. Thursday, April 24 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. will have bookmark making on the fourth floor in the lobby too.
The same events will be repeated from April 28 to May 1 for those that may not have the opportunity to pop by or may want to stop by again.
- Monday, April 28th: Button making from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. on the fourth floor;
- Tuesday, April 29th: 4-H Pet Pals from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the second floor;
- Wednesday, April 30th: Bookmark making from 10 a.m. to noon on the fourth floor;
- Thursday, May 1st: Puzzle day from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m in room 251 will conclude Finals by Alden.
There are many chances to decompress with University Libraries, so stop and enjoy all the fun activities.
