Since our beginning over 40 years ago, OHIO's Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine has been guided by its founding idea: To train excellent osteopathic physicians who serve Ohio’s communities of greatest need, especially in primary care fields.
The Phillips Medal of Public Service
The Phillips Medal of Public Service is named for the late J. Wallace Phillips and Jody Galbreath Phillips, longtime friends of Ohio University, to recognize the men and women involved in health care, education and public service.
