The Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (HCOM) transitioned their ticketing system to TeamDynamix (TDX) last week with extraordinary speed due to an unexpected licensing issue with their current ticketing tool. This means there is now a live TDX ticketing environment ahead of schedule, and HCOM can provide valuable input when OIT makes the transition in July.
Jodie Penrod, senior director of technology for HCOM, was pleased with the team effort that drove the implementation.
“My whole team pitched in at one moment or other,” she said. “They were super flexible with an already full plate with the new building. I just appreciated everyone’s flexibility. And Bret Swart, Jon Seastedt, Dave Beauvais, and Heidi Wilhelm are my heroes!”
The implementation also spurred the creation of the support@ohio.edu email address, which will send emails generated from TDX on behalf of HCOM, OIT and any future partners using TDX.
OIT’s implementation remains on schedule, with the launch of change enablement planned for June 7, internal IT ticketing on July 12, and a campus go-live on July 26.
