Dious Joseph (M.A.)is a doctoral candidate with a multifaceted academic and professional background. Dious holds triple bachelor's degrees in arts, philosophy, and theology, bridging diverse realms of knowledge. His master's thesis in Communication Studies at Fairfield University focused on end-of-life communication within religious organizations, pioneering research that intersects communication, theology, and healthcare. Dious has profound work experience in the clergy sphere of the Roman Catholic Church, which enriches his understanding of organizational and interpersonal dynamics. His research currently spans several critical areas within interpersonal and organizational communication. His projects include exploring the dynamics of communication among families of children with disabilities and the complexities of paternal postpartum depression—groups he identifies as uniquely understudied in the communication discipline. He also examines the role of AI in instructional communication.
