Nicole Kirchner
Nicole Kirchner is a Senior Project Manager on the Energy and Environment Team in The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service at Ohio University. Ms. Kirchner received her Master of Science degree in Environmental and Plant Biology from Ohio University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Botany from Ohio Wesleyan University with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies. Ms. Kirchner has spent over fifteen years conducting research and outreach in the areas of forestry, plant biology, wetland ecology, and sustainability, and is a former secondary science teacher. As a Senior Project Manager, Ms. Kirchner collaborates with community partners, university faculty, and students on research, outreach, and educational activities related to sustainability, energy, and environmental justice in Appalachia.
