Student Senate Alumni Network

The Student Senate Alumni Network connects Senate alumni with each other, current Senators, and university leadership. The network offers a variety of opportunities, including annual events, to engage with and contribute to these communities.

Our members continue to engage with Ohio University by mentoring current students, building professional and personal connections with their peers, and advocating for university-related issues in personal and government circles.

We’d love for you to get involved by attending one of our many annual events, including our Homecoming tent, the award-winning winter Advocacy Forum, our Senior Toast, or our annual meeting.

Many network members also donate their time to one of several committees that facilitate events, raise funds for our endowment, or recruit other members.

If you're interested in getting involved, please email Landen Lama at  landen.lama@yahoo.com .

Remember: When OHIO calls to solicit donations, you can designate yours to the Senate's leadership events by requesting it go directly to "The Senate Leadership Fund." Writing that same phrase on a paper donation form also ensures it supports our current Student Senators.

Student Senate Leadership Fund

The Student Senate Leadership Fund helps to send OHIO student senators to state and national conferences where they experience crucial networking opportunities. It also allows Student Senate to host expert speakers, workshops, and roundtable discussions at Ohio University and provides them with a forum for discussion and growth on all issues pertaining to student government.

To make an online gift to the Student Senate Leadership Fund, please visit ohio.edu/give/ and click the green GIVE NOW button. Be sure to check the box that says “The fund I want to support isn’t listed above” and type Student Senate LeadershipFund in the text box.
