The online PMBA degree provides you with strategic leadership skills through 36 customizable credit hours. Online courses are each 7-weeks in length. With nine concentrations to choose from, students can pursue a topic area that will prepare them to lead in a complex business world.
You can confidently select to enroll in either the fully online or hybrid modality that best suits your needs because our curriculum is designed to facilitate seamless transitions between the hybrid professional MBA program and the fully online MBA program, as you advance in your studies.

In addition, student veteran, active military members, alumni, and corporate partners are automatically eligible to receive a 15% scholarship through the College of Business.

Ohio University offers a convenient location for students in the Central Ohio area to attend once-a-month Saturday classes at our Dublin Campus. These interactive professional development sessions allow students to participate in lively discussion, group work and presentations with their cohort in a state-of-the-art classroom.
PMBA students also join other graduate business students in attending a Leadership Development Conference in Athens, Ohio, during their program. This two-day conference is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application through an exploration of various aspects of leadership, including how to lead yourself, how to lead and influence others and how to effectively lead businesses and enterprises in today’s modern environment.
The PMBA faculty will bring students together once a month to collaborate and work together as a team regarding actual business scenarios. Experiential Learning provides students with an hands-on experience during their 24 month program.

Yes. Through OHIO's unique Leadership Development Conference, you'll engage with your peers in person. During this weekend (Friday and Saturday) in Athens, Ohio, you will learn from world-class speakers, connect with classmates in online business programs at OHIO and meet the faculty you've learned from. All Online and Professional MBA students are required to attend this event at least once.

* Students must enroll in Ohio University’s professional MBA program (Online MBA or 1 Year MBA are excluded), be accepted by the University, and first start classes on August 25, 2025 to be eligible for this scholarship. Students receiving full tuition, education benefits or other incentive tuition scholarship offers from the University are not eligible for this scholarship. For eligible students, the scholarship will then be prorated and credited towards tuition on a course-by-course basis throughout the full duration of the program in an amount not to cumulatively exceed $10,000.
