Hosted by the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, the OHIO New Faculty Welcome provides critical information, resources, and support for new faculty joining any of Ohio University's campuses. The event offers information regarding critical processes and procedures, student support and success, promotion and tenure, tapping resources that support teaching and research, and key introductions to University contacts.

Baker Center Amenities
ATMs (Fourth and First Floors)
Located on the fourth floor adjacent to the Honors Collegium and on the first Floor just past the escalator on the right. Both operated by the Ohio University Credit Union.
Front Room Coffeehouse (Fourth Floor)
The Front Room provides a variety of hot and cold coffees, teas, and other beverages, along with a selection of snacks.
Lactation Room (Third Floor - Baker 353)
Located along the same hallway as the Dean of Students office, the Pride Center, and the Veterans and Military Student Services Center, it is across for a single occupancy bathroom. The room includes a glider and ottoman, white noise cancellation machine, microwave, refrigerator, lamp, mirror, and sink. The room remains unlocked unless occupied and is available for use during Baker Center's open hours. The room has a Medela Symphony Plus Pump . In order to use this hospital-grade, multi-user pump, users will need to bring your own attachments, which can be purchased on Amazon or through Medela's suppliers.

Parking, Lot Closures
Standard Dark Green/Purple Permit allows access to any regular non-metered, non-restricted spaces within dark green (faulty or staff) or purple (commuter) parking lots on campus. All dark green and purple lots require a parking permit Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM. Permits are valid in campus priority lots after 5PM and on weekends.
