Camilla Hibbard

Camilla Hibbard

College:  Patton College of Education

Major: Mild-Moderate Educ. Needs

Camilla is from Athens, Ohio. She is studying within the Patton College of Education, majoring in Integrated Special Education (Mild to Moderate). In her freetime, Camilla enjoys going on runs and hikes, caring for her houseplants, and watching competitive cooking T.V. shows. Lately, she has enjoyed making vegan dinners and learning new recipes with her friends and family. Camilla hopes to progress on her research looking in LGBTQ+ experiences in high schools, with hopes of publication before graduation. Professionally, Camilla is excited to begin teaching in a classroom working closely with those who have disabilities.

Asa Chen

Major: Undecided 

Asa is from Springfield, Ohio. He is a student in University College, hoping to to join the Russ College of Engineering and Technology to declare in Computer Science. Asa enjoys pursuing further knowledge of Morality, Ethics, and Philosophy. In addition, he spends a considerable amount of free time exercising. Asa also creates fitness media for his place of employment, WellWorks Fitness Center. Asa hopes to find a job relative to his major and interests after college. His highest goal would be working in the areospace and/or clean technology sector for employers such as NASA, Boeing, or Tesla.

Major: Public Health and Spanish

Claire is from Athens, Ohio, and a both the College of Health Sciences and the College of Arts and Sciences with a double major in Public Health and Spanish. Claire is interested in maternal and neonatal health, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Outside of class she works at the local running store and enjoys trail running with friends, cooking, and playing guitar. After graduation, Claire plans to attend graduate school for Public Health and business. Eventually, she hopes to work in health care tech startups, venture capital, or health care management.

Major:  Business and Marketing

Lexi is from Columbus, Ohio. She is in the College of Business. Lexi majors in International Business and Marketing. She enjoys being outdoors, studying different languages, and spending time with her friends and family. Lexi plans to start her career in sales and someday transfer those skills to a marketing role with a global company.

Major: Community and Public Health 

 Morgan is from Bellevue, Ohio, and is a student in the College of Health Sciences and Professions, majoring in Community and Public Health with a minor in Environmental Health. She enjoys camping with her family and friends and being active through playing sports and working out. Morgan also enjoys being introduced to new people and places, and hopes to be able to travel the world one day. Morgan is very passionate about her academic goal of continuing her education onto graduate school. Lastly, her academic passion is to be able to help improve the health of the entire population through more/improved health education and policies.

Emily is from Circleville, Ohio. Scripps College of Communication Emily is majoring in Communication Studies, minoring in Marketing, and getting certificates in Social Media and Entrepreneurship. Emily loves to read, hang out with friends and family, and workout. She has just started her love for running her freshman year of college and now plans to run a half marathon. After graduation, Emily hopes to work in the event planning industry. She wants to work within the industry for a while and work her way up to owning her own event planning business.

Major: Computer Engineering

Devin is from Athens, OH. He is a member of the Russ College of Engineering, majoring in Computer Engineering. He likes to mess around with and make different kinds of circuits using arduinos and workout in his free time. He also enjoys playing with his dogs and video games. Devin plans on working towards a job in Cybersecurity or a job in Computer Design in the future. He is working towards a internship with the FBI for over the summer.

Major: Nutrition

 Liv is from Chardon, Ohio. She is in the college of health science professions Nutrition Sciences. Liv brings her passion for nutrition to the kitchen as she enjoys cooking with her friends and family. She also plays club volleyball at OU and enjoys competing with various college teams across the US. Liv's goal is to attend Medical School upon graduation. She is applying to Osteopathic Medical Schools in hopes to become a Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine. Liv values the holistic view of these physicians and hopes to impact her future patients with a similar holistic approach.

Major:Journalism News and Information

Caitlin is from North Canton, Ohio. She is a student in the Scripps College of Communication and a senior studying journalism. Caitlin is president of Ohio University's chapter of Her Campus, an online women's magazine, and is a Templeton Scholar, a merit scholarship focused on leadership and service. In her free time, Caitlin likes to absorb as much pop culture as she can and enjoys watching television shows, movies, Broadway shows, and listening to music. Upon graduation, Caitlin hopes to become a reporter for either a print publication or for a television station. Her long-term goal is to be placed in a position in Los Angeles or New York City.

Jack Conrath-Sweeney

College:  Honors Tutorial College

Major:  College of Arts and Sciences

Jack is from Athens, Ohio, and a student in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Political Science. He loves inserting myself into spaces that can't be described by language and are hostile to written/definable/objective interruptions. He likes the woods and everything bagels. Jake likes going on adventures and playing aimlessly. Aimless play is my favorite thing; it is a place of privilege that he gets to engage in it as frequently as he does, though. Jack doesn't want to disappoint those folks in the academic/professional community that have put effort/resources into his personal growth. Besides that, he aspires to be a better person than he was yesterday. He also aspires to live in the moment more (kinda oxymoronic; to aspire to live in the moment).

Madison is from Athens, OH. She is a College of Arts & Sciences student with a major in Sociology. Madison is involved on campus with peer mentoring, student advising, and university advancement roles. In her last year at OU, she's focusing on her capstone research on immigration and using her downtime to write fiction and advocate for others. Madison is in the process of applying to graduate schools for a Masters in Higher Education, with hopes to land in advising or administrative roles in her career. Working with first year students and increasing college accessibility as well as meaningful university experiences is Madison's main goal for her future career.

Zoie from in Fairfield, Ohio. Zoie is a student at the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with a major in Journalism-News & Information. Some of Zoie's favorite pastimes are reading the lastest dystopian novels and spending time with love ones. She also loves writing for her blog called "My BOx". During her four year Zoie plans to minor in screen writing and film write studying journalism. After graduation she plans on working with any major news network as a producer.

Camryn is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in political science. Camryn’s hobbies change frequently, but she enjoys hiking, bike riding, and catching up on the lasted fashion trends. She also enjoys reading when her schedule allows her to do so. Camryn aspires to be a policy analyst while she figures out if law school is the right decision for her. Although she is willing to travel anywhere for work, she would prefer to work in a large city such as San Francisco, Chicago, or Philadelphia.

Major:Biological Sciences

Willow is from Nicholasville, KY, and a studen in the College of Arts & Sciences with a major in Biological Sciences, Pre-Professional. Willow spends much of her time finding new skills and hobbies to learn, and enjoys teaching these skills, which include crochet, crafting, and cooking, to her friends and family. Additionally, she enjoys watching hockey at Bird, finding fun with friends, and spending time watching shows with her cat. While still exploring her options, Willow currently intends to attend graduate school and pursue a career combining her professional interests, including medical science and project management. She looks forward to finding additional experiences to refine her career, and in the mean time, works as the Student Manager of the CoLab, where she oversees student staff, maintains the Makerspace, and promotes education within the space.

Ashlynn is from Eaton, Ohio. She is a member of the Scripps College of Communication, majoring in Photojournalism and Integrated Media with a minor in Spanish and a certificate in Diversity Studies. Ashlynn enjoys photography, music, the outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family. While attending Ohio University, she is a part of Thread Magazine, Variant Magazine, The Post, Enactus, Pepsi Scholars, NPPAOU, and she is a student ambassador for the Career and Leadership Development Center. Ashlynn plans to further explore the fields of photojournalism and media in hopes of interning with a publication or production company. She also hopes to be able to study and/or volunteer abroad to develop a better understanding of the Spanish language and other cultures.

Major: Environmental Studies and Sociology

Noel is from a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, and a student of the Honors Tutorial College. He is currently studying Environmental Studies and Sociology. In his free time, Noel enjoys hiking/walking, cooking, fishkeeping, and reading non-fiction. Over the summer, Noel worked on his sister's farm and is now interested in pursuing agriculture. Otherwise, he is more generally interested in pursuing a career that works in some way to address socio-political and environmental inequalities.

Noelle is from Winterville, NC, and a student in the Honors Tutorial College with an emphasis in Neuroscience. Outside of school, Noelle enjoys cooking, reading memoirs, and yoga. Noelle is generally interested in consciousness and plans to continuing studying the mind through an interdisciplinary lens in graduate school. She hopes to become a professor in a consciousness-related field, such as cognitive neuroscience or history and philosophy of science.

Major:  Management Information Systems

Zane is from Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and a student in the College of Business majoring in Business Analytics and Management Information Systems. Some of Zane's hobbies are listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with family. A few topics Zane is interested in include: Spirituality, Art, and Technology. Zane's primary professional focus right now is creating and discovering new, unconventional ways to bring Value and Happiness to the lives of others. Zane's main focus is to aid others in their life journey while also providing for his family and loved ones.
