For students enrolling in the MSES program, the Voinovich School offers financial assistance on a competitive basis. Each year, about 75 percent of the students in the Environmental Studies program receive financial aid in one of two forms:
Graduate Assistantships
Graduate assistantships carry a stipend for teaching or research. These are awarded by the Environmental Studies program, participating departments, faculty research funds, and the Voinovich School. If you receive a graduate stipend, you must perform teaching or research duties for the department offering the award. Graduate assistantships also include a full tuition waiver.
Tuition Scholarships
Partial tuition scholarships may be available and are awarded on the basis of academic ability.
Financial Aid
For students enrolled in Ohio University graduate programs, other financial support may be available. To begin the financial aid process, you need to complete and submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The school code for Ohio University is 003100.
