Biographical note

Robert Creeley (1926-2005) was an American poet from Massachusetts. Co-leader of the Black Mountain School of Poetry and editor of the Black Mountain Review. He wrote several books of poetry, short stories and essays. He collaborated with many artists in the 1960s.

The Don Swaim Collection includes audio tape reels and cassettes of interviews and radio broadcasts. Featured in this collection are the original masters of the radio series "Book Beat." Also included are broadcasts for "Mr. Shirer Gives a Talk," uncut author interviews, highlights on 1986 PEN International Conference, American Book Award speeches, and the 10-part series "Looking for the Great American Novel."
