General contains correspondence, newspaper and magazine clippings and written speeches. There is correspondence to Cecil H. Hemley's (CHH) father Fred Hemley regarding writings by CHH; personal correspondence to and from CHH; correspondence on CHH's behalf to the Register of Copyrights; correspondence to and from The Noonday Press offices; and correspondence relating to a project between the Poetry Society of American and Steuben Glass. The newspaper and magazine clippings contain reviews of CHH's work.
