The American Railroad Companies Stocks, Bonds & Notes represent companies primarily from the state of Ohio or surrounding areas. Also included in this collection are two municipal bond certificates from the city of Philadelphia. The collection was created by Kenneth W. Rendell Inc., a Massachusetts dealer in manuscripts and documents, and given to Ohio University.
