Handwritten letter from Phyllis Peirce stationed in Dutch New Guinea to her family in Massachusetts. She discusses Christmas celebrations and gifts, letters sent and recieved, magazines she has subscribed to, how she is working nights, an article in Life magazine that features Seabees and WACs, visiting the hospital, seeing Irving Berlin, and notes on local birds.
