Scope and Content
The John Quincy Adams Ward papers contain correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, invitations, pamphlets, and postcards. The photographs are of Ward's studio, family, friends, home, and his various works. Also included is a framed award from the Architectural League of New York to Ward and a report telling of Ward's contributions. Of particular interest are the photographs of Anna P. McVay's home and letters between McVay and Ward.
