Scope and Content
The James Magner papers span from 1956 to 1986 and contain correspondence; photographs; manuscripts and typescripts; his masters thesis; reviews of Magner's poetry; and publications in which Magner's poetry criticism and prose has appeared, including photocopies. Magner's correspondents include poets and other literary figures such as Anne Sexton and Richard Eberhart. The collection is organized into five series: 1. Works by James Magner; 2. Photographs, Typescripts, and Manuscripts; 3. Letters and Correspondence; 4. Articles and Reviews of Magner; and 5. Photocopies.
