Sub-series 1.1: Itineraries, 1940 - 2006

Itineraries are administrative files that document the dates and places of performances, dance festivals and residencies. The itineraries of Alwin Nikolais include the Playhouse Dance Company (1940’s – 1950’s), Alwin Nikolais Dance Company (1960’s) and Nikolais Dance Theatre (1970’s – 1989). The itineraries of Murray Louis include the Playhouse Dance Company (1950’s) and Murray Louis Dance Company (1950’s – 1989’s). The itineraries of the Nikolais and Murray Louis Dance Company (1990 – 1995) and the Murray Louis and Nikolais Dance Company (1996 – 1999) are included. Also, The Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, performing the Nikolais Dance Theatre pieces are included. Folders are arranged chronologically and by artist. The sub-series was received from 1999 through 2011.
