Level books numbered 52 and 64, 1894 - 1905
Scope and Contents
Level books, also known as "engineers books" contain information about the geography of the land and often includes notes and illustrations. In this series there are level books, mine notebooks, transit books, survey notebooks, field books, carpenter's time books, drilling daybooks, an engineer's book, and a ventilation book.
This series is arranged chronologically. Many folders contain two notebooks. The dates of the two notebooks may be inferred by the start and end dates for the file.
