Scope and Content
The Viola Fritz Keairns scrapbook is comprised of memorabilia compiled by Keairns and arranged it into a scrapbook during her time as a student at Ohio University. It spans from 1929 to 1933. While there are only a few photographs, primarily of university buildings, there are a large number of event programs, dance cards, and invitations to various campus events. Keairns provided commencement information, a student directory, and newspaper articles about her sorority and events that impacted her life. Keairns also included a letter she received from Dean Voigt requesting that she help organize Freshmen Week in September, 1933.
