Taylor Culbert, Vice President and Dean of Faculties Office Files, 1971-1972

The contents of the collection include the administrative papers of Taylor Culbert while he held the position of Vice President and Dean of Faculties at Ohio University. Taylor Culbert was a native of Brooklyn, New York. He received his bachelor's degree from Yale University and his master's and PhD from the University of Michigan. In 1953, Culbert began his career at Ohio University as an English instructor and worked his way up to be an English professor by 1965. By 1969, Culbert had assumed the role of Vice President and Dean of Faculties. At the age of 69, Taylor Culbert died on July 2, 1987 as a Trustees professor of English.

This collection sheds light on the programs that were going on in 1971-1972.
