Kennedy Museum of Art records

The Kennedy Museum of Art records span from 1954 to 2002 and document the exhibits and activities of this museum on Ohio University's campus. The collection has been left in its original order, but sorted into two additional folders to separate documents seemingly originating from disparate times and sources. Folder One contains one copy of a bound paperback edition of the catalog, Ohio University Gallery of Fine Art, the permanent collection of Twentieth Century Prints (1985). Folder Six contains photocopies of the catalog's introductory pages. Folder Two contains various editions of the Kennedy Museum of American Art NEWSLETTER for Friends of the Kennedy Museum (1994 - 1999). Folder Three contains a print-out of a PowerPoint presentation: Futures Task Force, Kennedy Museum of Art: Highlights and Analysis of Report conducted by LORD Cultural Resources. Folder Four contains an assortment of cards/flyers announcing exhibitions at the Kennedy Museum of Art during the years 2001, 2002. Folder Five contains two drafts of "A Brief History of the Ohio University Art Collection" by Donald O. Roberts, Professor Emeritus of Art (1997). Folder Six contains photocopies of the introductory pages of the permanent print collection catalog (see Folder One above). Folder Seven contains photocopies of what appear to be the catalog for a 1954 exhibition of American painting at the Chubb Library Art Gallery. Some of these materials, which include an inventory, are hand-labeled as appendices.
