The collection contains: diaries of Keturah Broadwell, Anne Elizabeth Broadwell, Elijah Hatch, and Loah Frost Dow; manuscript songs and an essay on the Coonskin Library; photographs of the Ohio cities of Broadwell, Coolville, Caananville, Marietta, and Athens; scrapbooks on sewing, student days, and family; and a printed item.

Biography of the Hatch, Frost and Broadwell Families
Loah Frost Dow was married to Walter N. Dow. The Frost family and Broadwell family were ancestors of Loah Frost Dow.
