The Edmund Blunden papers contain correspondence and writings of Blunden; playbills collected by Blunden; and newspaper clippings. Many of the letters are to Dorothea Hayward Scott, another English author.

Biography of Edmund Blunden
English poet, author and critic Edmund Blunden was born November 1, 1896 in London, England. He was the oldest of nine children. He had married three times, divorced all but his last wife Claire. He taught at the University of Hong Kong, and was a Professor of Poetry at the University of Oxford. He died January 20, 1974

Acquisition Information
The Ohio University Archives received the collection in installments of gifts from Dorothea Scott in 1991 and through purchase from Charles Apfelbaum in 1993.
Existence and Location of Copies
