History of Cincinnati, Pomeroy & Charleston Packet Co. Ledger
Cincinnati, Pomeroy & Charleston Packet Co. known also as the White Collar Line (because of the emblem of two white collars painted on the stacks) was a steamboat company with a wharf-boat located in 206 E. Front St., Cincinnati and operated on the Ohio River in 1890s. Two steamboats in the fleet were the Steamer Bonanza and the Steamer Sunshine. In 1904 the company was bought by Captain Gordon Green and renamed Greene Line Steamers, Inc.
