Omaha Beach maps
Scope and Content
The Omaha Beach maps date from 1944 and are two maps created for landing forces on the coast of Normandy, France during World War II. One map is for East Omaha Beach and one for West Omaha Beach. The maps were prepared by Commander Task Force 122 on April 21, 1944. The maps show the topography, buildings, roadways and ocean currents of the area.

Omaha Beach is the code name for one of the five sectors of the Allied invasion of France in the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, during World War II. This date is known as D-Day.
