The Contemporary History Institute focuses on events from WW2 to the present. It is part of the Department of History, and while it does not grant a degree, it confers an interdisciplinary certificate in contemporary history. The Institute holds a Speakers Series, where guest lecturers come to give talks about various topics in contemporary history.
