Biographical note

Bob Garbo, Executive Director of Hocking-Athens-Perry Community Action Agency, is a key leader in the community. He has served as Chair of the COAD Board of Directors and currently chairs the board's Planning and Advocacy Committee. He also chairs the Board of the Community Action of Appalachian Ohio (CAAO) an advocacy and lobbying organization for COAD member agencies. He was a co-founder of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio and currently serves as a board member on the Governor's Workforce Policy Board, the Ohio Community Services Council, the Athens Metropolitan Housing Authority and Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio.
