Holograph letter of 10 October [180]5 to John Walker, bookseller, of Paternoster Row, London, discussing the "approval of pieces of work" and the best possible way to deliver them to the publisher. Also includes two portraits labeled Peter Pindar, Esq., one of which is labeled "Published by John Walker: Paternoster Row, March 1, 1812."

The Howard Pyle holograph letter to Elmer Reynolds discusses Pyle's illustration of Tennyson's "Lady of Shalott." Pyle says he would like to be able to redo the illustration and suggests that Reynolds edit the work for a New York publisher. A typed transcript is included.

Letters (and clippings) received by Scantlebury, Canon of St. Joseph's Church, West St., Emsworth, Hants., England; letters dated 1962, from A.C.J. Roger (4) and 1959 (1); from Martin Cleary (1962); and from M.R. Trappes-Lomax (1962); also clippings and notes; all found laid in a set of Catholic Record Society Publications; mostly concerning medieval English (Catholic?) history and genealogy.

Includes: an autograph letter signed to Robert Brewin regarding delivery of poems paid for from 1843 May 16; autograph letter signed to Mrs. Murray (possibly wife of the publisher John Murray dated 1833 February 27; an autograph manuscript signed, "Lines by T. Campbell - transcribed 17 March 1860"; an autograph letter signed to "My dear Madam" declining an invitation; and an autograph manuscript of the poem "Adelgetha".
