The 2022 Minnow Tank Finals will be held live in the OHIO Eastern Theatre on Thursday, October 20 at 6pm.  The final top three teams have been selected and each team will pitch their final presentations for a chance to win prize money. 

Minnow Tank is a community project team competition developed by Create Our Future in collaboration with Belmont County Community Improvement Corporation. 

The Minnow Tank competition was open to all Ohio residents.  Teams were formed and asked to propose a business idea for a specific vacant property located in Belmont County. Each team submitted a video pitch proposing a unique business idea for a specified location - either a novel product or service that could be manufactured, created, sold or served from the chosen location. The teams were encouraged to submit innovative ideas that would create jobs in the community. 

Each team consists of 3-4 members. One member of each team is a child (age 5-17). All members are residents of Ohio.

This community project competition was a developed to get kids involved in thinking about business and needs of their community.

This event is open to the public.
