Participants will be in small groups to cover a selected section of the river. Participants are as ked to wear ‘closed-toed’ shoes\, dress for the weather\, and the possibili ty of sun exposure and high grass. Gloves and trash bags will be provided a nd early registrants will get an event t-shirt. After the morning clean-up\ , participants are invited to join us in a free picnic-style lunch. Transpo rtation will be available to and from campus.\n\nThis event is hosted by th e Athens County Soil & Water Conservation District in partnership with Ohio University's Center for Campus and Community Engagement and Office of Sust ainability.
