A Community Conversation is a one-day community forum to discuss the strategies set forth in Ruby Payne's 'Bridges Out of Poverty: Strategies for Professionals and Communities' 5th Edition. The one-day forum will be moderated by Renee Parsons, an Aha! Process Inc. certified moderator and feature break-out strategy sessions and a networking lunch. Attendees will be placed in small workgroups that will continue to meet and discuss the Bridges Out of Poverty strategies and work on the implementation of the concepts in their organizations. Attendees will receive a copy of 'Bridges Out of Poverty' 5th Edition and lunch. CEUs are available for educators, human resource professionals, and social workers (pending coordination with ODE, SHRM, and ODMHAS).
