The singing lecture will focus on the role that folksongs play in the US labor movement.

About Corey Dolgon:
Corey Dolgon, a Ph.D in American Culture and Sociology Professor has performed “singing lectures” for over 25 years. Corey is a long-time labor activist and community organizer who's used folk songs to build solidarity on the line and engage students in the classroom. His singing lectures cover movement history from a multicultural perspective and examines the function of folk songs in workers’ and activists' work and organizing.
