We have put together a small panel of presenters to discuss the foundations of and experiences with sustainable investing at Ohio University. Most visibly, our student investment groups began their sustainable investing program in 2013, and since then we have grown our sustainable student investing program into one of the largest in the country. We will have a brief discussion of investing basics and how sustainability plays a role in modern investment decision making. That will be followed by a discussion of the challenges and successes our student investment teams have experienced over the last eight years. Additionally, we will hear about some cutting edge student research into sustainable and ESG investing. And finally, we will get an understanding of how Ohio University’s sustainability initiatives play into our student investing program and beyond to impact other facets of sustainable investing at Ohio University.
