Volunteer Opportunity: Turkey and Trimmings Giveaway With the Ebony Bobcat Network (EBN) Akron/Canton Affiliate!

The EBN Akron/Canton Affiliate invites you to join us in supporting the Good Samaritan Hunger Center’s annual Turkey and Trimmings Giveaway! Each year, with the help of volunteers, the center distributes 600 turkeys and all the holiday trimmings to families in need, right before Thanksgiving.

Date: Monday, November 25, 2024
Location: Joy Park Community Center, 825 James Ingram Way, Akron, OH
Who: All alumni and friends
Volunteer Shifts: 3:45–5:15 p.m. and 4:45–6:30 p.m.

Hot and cold beverages, snacks, and lunch will be provided by Good Samaritan for all volunteers. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community, and we’d love to have you with us!
