Alpha Chi Sigma - Family Science Saturday, April 1

Alpha Chi Sigma hosts Family Science Saturday, featuring hands-on science experiments and activities that involve chemistry, biology, forensics, physics, and more on Saturday, April 1, from noon to 4 p.m. in the the Chemistry Building, 133 University Terrace, Athens, Ohio.
With help from the Senate Appropriations Committee, this event is held every year in the Chemistry Building at no cost to the local Athens community members and OHIO students. Free parking for this event can be found in the Morton parking lot (Lot #90 on the Athens Campus Parking Map) with only a short walk to the event's location (Building #100). All ages and experience levels are welcome to join us for an afternoon of fun and interesting activities!
Alpha Chi Sigma is a national professional chemistry fraternity. Our goal is to unite chemists in both the academic and professional setting. We also engage the community in science by performing chemistry outreach programs, tutoring, helping at school science fairs, and participating in campus events such as Relay for Life. In addition to our volunteer time, the chapter focuses on academic success, building lifelong friendships, and networking. To aid in this, we hold study sessions, social events, and networking opportunities for brothers to partake in. Alpha Chi Sigma also sells ACS study guides to students on campus to help OU students be successful on their final exams. If you are interested in joining, please email the President Josie Franks ( jf841917@ohio.edu ) for more information!
