#AMSOU seminarOur guest speaker at the AMSOU Seminar this week will be Delfino Nolasco. He will discuss the connection between skew left braces and set-theoretic solutions of the Yang–Baxter equation.
Abstract: In 2017, L. Guarnieri and L. Vendramin generalized Rump's braces to the non-commutative setting and use skew brace's structure to study not necessarily involutive non-degenerate set-theoretical solutions of the Yang–Baxter equation.
In this talk, we focus on exploring the relationship between skewed left braces and set-theoretic approaches to solving the Yang–Baxter equation.
Place: Morton Hall, 219
