The Office of Health Promotion, with support from Counseling and Psychological Services, is hosting an evening at Donkey Coffee on Tuesday, September 10th, 7:30-9:30PM in honor of World Suicide Prevention Day. The theme for the evening is Changing the Narrative on Suicide and we hope to raise awareness of this issue and come together as a community to shift the culture of silence and stigma to one of openness, understanding, and support. We encourage students to register to participate at the event by sharing their stories, poems, art, or music as it relates to Suicide Prevention, student mental health and well-being, and the theme. We will have a mandatory reporting exemption for this evening and staff from Counseling and Psychological Services will be available to offer support.

Please note: speakers will be limited to a maximum of 10 minutes on stage to share as we hope to create space and time for multiple engagements. Please complete the following form if you are interested in speaking or performing at our event.
