About Anthony Ray Hinton:
In 1985, Anthony Ray Hinton, a young black man, was arrested and charged with two capital murders in Alabama. His arrest was a case of mistaken identity, and he was at work at the time of the crimes (as testified to by his employer), but he was tried and convicted - receiving the death penalty. For almost 30 years, Hinton languished on death row - until he was exonerated through the work of the Equal Justice Initiative.
His story has been described as a "powerful, revealing story of hope, love, justice."
**Includes a book signing by the author following the presentation.**
