How the Black Lives Matter movement will affect this year’s election.

Dr. Anirudh Ruhil, Dr. Stephen Scanlan, and Distinguished Professor, Charles Smith discuss the impact the Black Lives Matter movement may have on the 2020 presidential election.

Ruhil is an expert in big data, city politics and policy and data analytics. He’s focusing on evaluations of value-added pilot programs in Ohio and evaluating value-added data and the new teacher and principal accountability systems that use this.

Scanlan is an expert in environmental justice, food insecurity and poverty. His research examines environmental justice and poverty in Appalachia, food deserts, gender and development, and greenwashing and corporate environmental communications.

Smith is an expert in theater, playwriting, African American theater and artists' roles in today’s society. He develops many of his plays over issues society often finds uncomfortable and has a long-standing relationship with The Victory Gardens.
