Join the Center for Entrepreneurship and TechGROWTH Ohio for the Women's Financial Empowerment panel discussion , hosted by HFLA of Northeast Ohio, at CoLab in Alden Library on Monday, October 11 at 7:00 p.m. The panel comprised of  Robin Hauser ,  Director of $avvy, and two Cleveland-area experts,  Margaret Mitchell,  President & CEO of the YWCA Cleveland, and  Heather Ettinger , Founder & CEO of Luma Wealth Advisors, will discuss how we can improve women’s financial empowerment.  FREE pizza and refreshments will be provided at the panel watch party.

About $avvy:  $avvy questions why women often take a backseat to managing their money by investigating the historical, cultural, and societal norms around women and money in the United States. 

On October 10, 2021, join HFLA of Northeast Ohio for a free virtual screening of the groundbreaking documentary, $avvy, a film that investigates the historical and societal norms around women and money, and calls for women to take back control of their financial futures. The virtual screening will be followed the next day, October 11, by a panel discussion at 7:00 p.m. with Robin Hauser, $avvy’s director/producer, Margaret Mitchell of YWCA Greater Cleveland, and Heather Ettinger, of Luma Wealth Advisors.
