A panel of international scholars will discuss BLM as a transnational phenomenon from comparative perspectives, with focus on continental and national/regional manifestations of BLM awareness and solidarity.

Panelists include;

  • Dr. Agya Boakye-Boaten , Associate Professor of Africana Studies and Director of Interdisciplinary, International, & Africana Studies Programs at UNC-Asheville 
  • Dr. Danai Mupotsa,  Senior Lecturer in African Literature at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
  • Dr. Sueann Caulfield,  Associate Professor of History at the University of Michigan.

A Q&A with the audience will follow.
