Join us for a reading and discussion of Irena's Children: The extraordinary story of the woman who saved 2,500 children from the Warsaw ghetto by Tilar J. Mazzeo. When German forces occupying Poland during World War II began isolating and eradicating Warsaw's Jewish population under Hitler's orders, Irena Sendler, a young social worker, courageously devoted herself to saving as many people as possible.
