Chemistry Colloquium: Prof. Gwénaël Rapenne 

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Colloquium guest speaker will be Professor Gwénaël Rapenne from the Universite' Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier . Dr. Rapenne's research interests focuses on machines working at the nanometer scale and operating at the molecular level (motors, gears, winches, nanovehicles…). This research involves multistep organic synthesis, fullerene functionalization and coordination chemistry along with the complete set of classical characterization methods of molecular chemistry.
