He will share a few examples of using chemical kinetics models to pull out useful informat ion from various systems\, specifically\, teaching undergraduate students t o use kinetic models to analyze COVID-19 spreading speed\; using kinetic mo dels to guess photo-oxidation reaction mechanism of perovskite quantum dots \; and using diffusion model to predict adsorption reaction kinetics and bu lk reaction orders.
