DESCRIPTION:Gina Ruffin Moore\, '79\, will discuss her book\, "Cincinnati:
The Black America Series\," which provides a history of African Americans i
n Cincinnati. Several people mentioned in the book had national prominence
and one Cincinnati resident mentioned served Ohio University. So wherever y
ou live\, this will be an enlightening experience. Moore also will discuss
her career as a broadcast journalist as well as her famous relative.\n\nBri
ef information regarding the Ebony Bobcat Network Alumni and the Ebony Bobc
at Network Urban Scholarship Endowment also will also be presented.\n\nAbou
t the Author\nGina Ruffin Moore graduated from Ohio University in 1979 with
a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism. She has been a news director at more th
an five Cincinnati radio stations\, a correspondent for the former National
Black Network\, and a freelance journalist for the Associated Press\, Cinc
innati Enquirer\, and The Cincinnati Post. She earned a Master's Degree in
Human Resources\, Development\, and Training from Xavier University (Ohio)
in 2012. Gina and her husband\, Russell\, are the proud parents of two Bobc
ats: Jennifer Moore\, class of 2007\, and Victor Moore\, class of 2009. \n\
