Instructors are invited t o sit down and chat with colleagues who have expertise in free speech\, hig her education law\, and U.S. politics\, as well as those who are simply int erested in how to support positive student engagement and expression. Sampl e topics may include Free Speech and the Classroom\, Elevating Election Cyc le Topics\, and Teaching Before and After a Presidential Election. \n\nEach session will begin with a conversation starter\, then those attending are encouraged to join smaller groups to share examples\, strategies and concer ns related to dialogue inside and outside the classroom. The goal for our t ime together is to build scholarly and supportive communities on topics of interest to many instructors and learners.\n\nThe coffees are scheduled in the CTLA Collaboratory\, first floor\, McGuffey Hall\, with a virtual “tabl e” for regional faculty or those who cannot attend in person (available by request following registration\; email ctla@ohio.edu).
