Looking for a fun event to attend the weekend of July 13–14? The second annual  Columbus Book Festival  is taking place, and Ohio University Press will be there with books on both days. Please stop by booth #40 to meet staff and see the selection of books. There will also be two author appearances on Saturday:

11:00 a.m.–Noon —Ian Adams, Randall Lee Schieber, and Robin L. Smith. Book launch for This Place of Silence: Ohio’s Cemeteries and Burial Grounds , a coffee table-style photo book.

2:30–3:30 p.m. —Andrew Welsh-Huggins, author of the Columbus-based Andy Hayes Mysteries will be signing copies of the seven existing books in the series. This is the 10 th anniversary of the series, with an eighth book coming out in September.

Parking: The Columbus Book Festival is held in the Topiary Park behind the Main Library. The Main Library’s 5-level attached parking garage has free event parking, and there are multiple surface lots surrounding Topiary Park that will be free during the festival. Look for  Free Book Festival Parking  signs.
