About this Constitution Day talk:

Professor Bard speak on the topic of "Constitutional and Legal Issues in Healthcare Settings". Afterwards, she will take some time to answer student questions about the law school application process and life as a law school student.

About Dr. Jennifer Bard:

Dr. Bard is a prolific and highly successful scholar in the disciplines of law, public health, and bioethics. She has published numerous articles and book chapters and frequently publishes op-eds in publications such as the Harvard Law School Bill of Health Blog, STAT, the Washington Post, and the New York Times.

Her research interests center around role of the U.S. Constitution in the health care system and the use of law as a tool for promoting a healthy, just, and fair society. Her most recent articles have looked at these issues in the context of inclusion of people with disabilities in human subject research, applying public health tools to the opioid overdose crisis, and developing standards for the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence in health care and other settings.
