Add to calendarOhio University’s Division of Diversity and Inclusion will host the third annual Diversity Leadership Institute via Zoom on Thursday, April 22, 2021 beginning at 9:45am. This year’s theme is Pathways to Anti-Racism with Dr. James D. Anderson, Dean, College of Education at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign as the keynote speaker. Dr. Anderson’s scholarship focuses broadly on the history of U.S. education, with a subfield on the history of African American education. His keynote address will feature questions moderated by Dr. Tanisha King, Chief Inclusion Officer at OHIO’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. This year’s Institute will give participants the opportunity to attend one of two Anti-Racism Reflection Workshops and to select the time which best fits their schedule.
