Economics Seminar | Dallas Fed VP on Inflation and Monetary Policy, April 7
The Economics Seminar series features Dr. Mark Wynne (Dallas Fed) discussing "The Inflation Surge of 2021-22: A Preliminary Postmortem" on Friday, April 7, from 3:10 to 4:10 p.m. in Bentley 124.
Wynne is Vice President, Associate Director of Research and Director of the Globalization Institute for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
Wynne is an expert on macroeconomics topics, and he will talk about the timely topic of inflation and monetary policy. His talk will be a non-technical talk for a wide audience.
He is a member of the American Economic Association, the European Economic Association, the Econometric Society, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations.
He earned first-class-honors BA and MA degrees from the National University of Ireland–University College, Dublin, and holds MA and PhD degrees in economics from the University of Rochester.
